We give thanks to God Almighty for the successful completion of the third term of 2016/2017 academic session. We sincerely appreciate all our parents/guardians, both new and existing for your patronage, support and belief in our philosophy and ethos.
The term is full of academic work which includes completion of J.S.S.3 projects and their Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and intensive teaching for other students in preparation for promotional examination.
The S.S.S.3 students have successfully concluded their WASSCE. They also sat for JAMB examination and performed well. The valedictory service of our S.S.3 students also took place.
The Scholarship Aptitude Test (SAT) registration and lecture is ongoing, students are encouraged to register for it.
During the course of the term, some of our students attended a seminar at University of Lagos (UNILAG) organized by Evans Publishers where they were taught on how to excel academically.
We had the Junior Secondary School Assembly Celebration where students were recognized and celebrated for various efforts they have shown in the school and discovered different talents they have.
The students were actively involved in assembly activities which include: quiz competition, debate, speech delivery etc.
Deworming exercise also took place in the term.
Also, our students are undergoing intensive training in addition to the skills they have acquired in the following areas:
Soap making, sewing, cookeries, hair dressing and shoe making.
We encourage the parents to continue supporting the school’s efforts by providing materials for their children as they are resuming back to the school for the new session so as to continue practicing these skills.
Our summer coaching will commence on 24th July, 2017-25th August, 2017. The summer program is loaded with different activities. Will encourage our students to be part of this program.
We wish to appeal to our parents/guardians to support us in monitoring our children in the following areas: personal studying, assignment, appearance, proper keeping of personal belongings and punctuality.
Visiting Day for the boarders comes up every first Sunday of the month, parents who fail to come on this stipulated day should postpone their coming to the next visiting day because we have noticed that the parents come during the week and is causing distraction for our classes.
