Hearing Impaired
In the Hearing Impaired unit (deaf), our focus is to prepare the children for the future through the use of American Sign Language to communicate effectively in the society.
The curriculum used by the regular children (Hearing children) is also used for the Hearing Impaired children (Deaf) which enables them to sit for unified internal and external examinations.
Special needs children are learning to communicate, interact, learn and socialize so as to enable them to integrate into the mainstream with the aid of our innovative and creative curriculum and supporting teaching tools for individuals.
Our Mission – To encourage children with special education needs to integrate with their peers, both socially and academically and ensure that the home and community value them as individuals.
Our Vision – To transform the education for the special needs children in our society.
The school also engages the Hearing Impaired children in vocational skills to enable them showcase their God given talents.
Once again we welcome you back to school into session loaded with lots activities, adventure and fun.
Thank you.
